The 60k Maintenance Pack is made up of a number of general maintenance items which should be addressed during the 60k valve adjustment service. The purpose of capturing these items as a group is that they can be addressed without additional labor if done at the same time.

Many times service establishments do little more than a tune-up on the SHO at the 60,000 mile interval. Not only should the valve shims be adjusted but other items should be considered once the engine is exposed to the level of the valve shim.


The Yamaha engine in the SHO is the crown jewel of the car. Be good to it and it will be good to you. We recommend high quality replacement parts. We realize that there will be after market alternatives of varying levels of quality and price. Call us for a recommendation or gives us your experience.
